SOUTH CORNER IN BREEDING AND SPORT
In the company’s first year, the South Corner team was able to achieve considerable success in both sport and breeding. Outstanding examples of this include the result of the 50-day test, at which South Corner was able to present the winner of the stallion performance test, as well as numerous successes in development tests up to 125cm/130cm for youngsters.
On this article we present a selection of the successes that have been achieved.
PROMISING YOUNGSTERS
With convincing performances in development tests for young horses, Necofino, Illuminati van de Dries, Viblue PS and Rosette have impressively recommended themselves for sport. The five- and six-year-old horses also impressed with their high level of reliability, and deservedly recorded various victories in their age groups.
THE WINNERS: KADANZ AND BERGSTEIGER
At just six and seven years old respectively, Kadanz and Bergsteiger are among the oldest horses owned by South Corner. In the past tournament season – 2022 – both horses have clocked up multiple victories in youngster tests up to 125cm/130cm.

HORUS VICTORIOUS AT THE 50-DAY TEST
3-vear-old Horus finished the 50-day test with an impressive overall score of 8.69, making him the celebrated winner of the stallion performance test. The other four South Corner stallions presented also performed convincingly right across the board, arousing great interest among breeders.
